The iconic Singapore Girl. For 40 years, she made Singapore Airlines synonymous with grace and impeccable service. Her image was fiercely protected and there were specific rules on how to do an ad - an actual Singapore Girl who took center stage, no dialogue and so on. It was all about the romance of travel.
This campaign was named the top 3 successful campaigns of 2011 by Campaign Asia magazine.
