WARZONE 2.0 LOOT OPS

To launch Warzone’s new Loot and Extract mode, we brought that game world into real life,
and made every gamer fantasy real… a warehouse filled with loot that you can steal, if you can make it out alive!

Working with experience design and production crew, we created whole warehouse full of gaming equipment there for the taking, filled it with armed guards with pre-set patrolling patterns and fields of vision.

We invited 21 creators across 7 markets to pull off their own cinematic real-life raid attempts. They streamed it on watch parties and gave their loot to their fans. It became a hit and a fresh way to engage streamers and gamers.

How do we convince a skeptical gaming community burned by watered down sequels,
that Diablo IV is back in peak form dark fantasy?
We let fans prove their love, by signing away their afterlife to the game.

Thousands of gamers participated in the challenge, slaying endless demon hordes for days for a chance to be chosen. The final 6 were then led to an immersive ceremony that recreated the hellish world of Diablo.
